LASER CUTTING PROJECT
For this challenge we were told to design a laser cutting project on Google SketchUp. Before we began designing, we were asked to find 20 laser cutting examples that we found interesting. My examples are shown below in the slide show.

Brainstorming: We were given a 12 by 12 piece of wood to work with. To the left is a sketch of my final design. My design is an oversized guitar pick with a bible verse ingraved on the front face.
Build: Below this are pictures of the guitar pick before and after it came out of the laser cutter machine.
Solution: To the left is a picture of the final outcome of the project. It was stained and then the words were filled in with black Sharpie.
