Helping Hand Challenge
Challenge: For this challenge we were asked to make a simple machine that would be able to grab several objects and move them to another location.
Brain Storm: Our main inspiration for our project was sissors. We wanted to keep our design simple. Pictured to the right, are our sketches and final designs.
Build: We designed the two main parts on Google Sketch Up. We laser cut both parts of the project and then attached them together using a brass fastener.
Presentation: During our presentation we had to pick up a cotton ball, a tennis ball, a foam cup, a solo cup, a mason jar, and a tennis ball inside a solo cup.
